Young People’s Creative Residency

“I thought Jen was a great teacher and I would love to do the whole thing over again HINT HINT!!!”

— Konnor Seel, Evanton

“Thank you for being a fantastic teacher and having patience when I was struggling, you gave me confidence.”

— Stacey Butcher, Invergordon

“Jen ran a series of taster sessions for young people at the Calman Trust, leading to an outdoor performance as part of the Inverness Winter Festival. Jen was great at giving young people enough freedom so they felt excited and motivated to learn, at the same time as maintaining enough control so they were safe. The young people grew hugely in confidence, both in their aerial skills and across other areas of their life. The whole experience was fantastic!”

— Ferga Perry, Calman Trust, Inverness

Brownie Workshop

“Thank you for the amazing cocoons/acrobatic workshop with my Brownies. The girls were challenged to try something new, work cooperatively with friends and above all, have lots of fun! It’s by far the most unusual and memorable Brownie trip so far!”

— Sharisse Tindall, Edinburgh

Children’s Workshops

“It was so much fun! …I had a fantastic time… …I found ‘the nappy’ such a cool position in the cocoon.”

— Lena, Edinburgh

“Thought it was a brilliant workshop. My favourite part was the cocoons. Thank you for the opportunity.”

— Rachel Baker, Edinburgh

“Rachel really enjoyed her session and we were impressed by how well Jen gave clear and positive instructions to the girls so that they could get the most out of their session. We were amazed by how much they achieved in such a short time.”

— Jennifer and Rachel (7) MacLeod

Adult Classes & Courses

“Classes are supportive spaces where teachers and students work together to push individual limits and celebrate achievements. I’ve made friends, increased confidence, and vastly improved fitness. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who fancies something a little bit different.”

“The class is great and it’s loads of fun!”

“I have really having Lucy as a teacher,(sic) I like the way she build a sequence up each 2nd week on the trapeze.”

“Jen came up to the Highlands to mentor our group for the Bodycurrents Waterforce finale. She shaped our performance letting us explore the options, guiding, inspiring, challenging and above all making sure we got the most out of the experience and all done with a great sense of fun. She is coming up in the new year to run a workshop for our sister community group .We chose her from an extensive list of potential candidates because we know we will get everything we want and more.”

— Cuillin Fools, Skye & Lochalsh
