Aerial Workshops at Dunblane Jan – April 2024 

Saturday 11th January 3:15-5:15pm – Cloudswing with Grace Turner

Swing Roll and Float away on a Cloud!

Cloudswing is a rope rigged in a wide U, it is a unique piece of apparatus that gives the aerialist a sense of freedom to swing and roll around. Grace is an experienced cloudswing teacher and she will be teaching the fundamentals of cloudswing technique offering both beginner and intermediate level skills in this 2 hour workshop.

Saturday 8th February 3:15-5:15pm – Performance Technique with Barry Lenkov 

Learn how to dramatise your performance. How to use energy efficiently to give your act a good flow and pace. Adding flare and character to your performance. Finding a starting point. Exploring sequencing that fits your aims. Not suitable for complete beginners but anyone who feels they can confidently complete a selection of skills on either hoop, silks or trapeze. Ideal for any of our students working towards the Showcase in March. You do not need to have a sequence already or you can bring the sequence we are developing in class. For adults and teens age 12+

£28.50 for each 2 hour workshop

We have a limited number of subsidised places available where cost is a barrier to attending. Please email  stirling@aerialdance.co.uk to discuss discounts, the pre-requisites or any other questions.

These workshops require a minimum number of attendees to run, therefore, please book as early as possible to secure the session. If we do not meet the required number we will refund your session and inform you at least 48 hours before the class.
