Last week saw us undertaking our first tranche of rehearsals for the Paisley Hallowe’en Parade. We recruited our fantastic crew of young people, age 12 -26, to take part in an aerial spectacle at the end of the Halloween Parade at Paisley Town Hall on 27 October.

Our brave young people worked really hard and got pretty high off the ground as you can see from some of the pictures from the rehearsal days! We are also be doing floor based movement, so those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground will be able to get involved too.

So if you are planning on joining us, make sure you look up to see our Flying Witches performance, which will see performers swing 120ft above the crowds in Abbey Close! There will be loads of other fun things happening from 12pm that day, including pumpkin carving, trick or treat booths, scary storytelling and hands on Halloween activities for kids. Plus, County Square will have a funfair and live entertainment from local dance and theatre groups and there will also be fantastic selection of local street food vendors.

If you want to see aerial in action, have a look on our social channels, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, or watch on Vimeo.
