Aerial Workshops at Dunblane Sep – Dec 2025
Saturday 4th October 12:45-2:45 Doubles with Danuta Ramos and Andy Green
Why not climb on your friends? Or help your friends fly? If you already have a love for aerial, and would like to try some flying teamwork then this is the workshop for you! We will be learning some basics of what can be achieved together in the air, and how to climb and swing through the air with more than just ropes to hold onto! (Photographer Paul Bock)
This workshop will be an introduction to aerial doubles on various aerial equipment.
Level: Improver and above: students need to be able to easily climb to 4 meters on silks and be able to invert multiple times at height. Should be comfortable in having contact with other people.
Age: Adults and 12+ teens
NB: There is a practical need for physical contact to make the moves work e.g. flyer might need to sit on their base or grab around them with their legs, and the aim is to team up with people who you are comfy with and for teens to be partnered with other teens, the tutors or adults they know.
£28.50 for 2 hour workshop

Saturday 29th November Bungee Aerial Dance Harness with Chrissie Ardill

Very fun and very physical, bungee dance harness allows you to create movements that would be otherwise impossible: jumping, falling and recovering to your feet in seemingly magical ways. In this session we will use the power of the bungee to help us perform dynamic and sometimes acrobatic movements. The class will be a mixture of taught movements and creative exploration. Wear trainers and some cushy layers around your hips and your body will thank you.
Level: Suitable for anyone. Complete beginners welcome.
Age: Adults and 12+ teens
