• Saturday 9th May – Handstands with Kit Rodman-Orr

12:45-2:45pm Handstands for Beginners

Do you want to start working on handstands but are unsure where to begin? Always wanted to try but afraid of falling? Or maybe you can hold for a few seconds but would like to learn more. This workshop will cover the basics of how to begin training and progressing handstands, including the fundamentals of kicking up, entering and exiting safely, working with a wall and finding balance and alignment.

Kit Rodman-Orr is an experienced coach and performer who graduated from Circomedia in 2015 with a BA in Circus Arts and Physical Performance. They have a passion for community work and education and enjoys spending as much time upside-down as possible and enabling other people to join in.

• Required Skill: ability to hold plank for 20-30 seconds on the floor
• Age: Adults and S1+ teens
• £22 for 2 hour session
