Edinburgh Aerial Workshops – February & March

Sunday Aerial One-off Workshop in February & March.

22nd February. Twist, twirl and spin on Aerial Hoop.

Level. Improver and up.

We will start by exploring some basic ways to start a spin and some accessible ways to mount a spinning hoop before we learn a fun, twisty sequence in the air.

Suitable for confident improvers on any apparatus, the hoops will be low so you do not need to be able to invert in the air.  Spinning will be a big part of this session though you don’t need to have any experience in spinning to take part.

4:30pm – 6pm.  Cost: £21.75

8th March.  Corde lisse with The Ensemble artist Tessa Stockwell.

Level.  Improver and up.

We will look at linking root positions (e.g. front balance, back balance, catchers, hip lock, s-lock) into sequences, as well as exploring ways in and out of s-lock, with the scope to explore some new pathways and shapes.  All participants should be comfortable climbing and inverting independently.
