Feature on : Labhan Dinwoodie

10 December 2023

We are starting to run a feature on people that are part of All or Nothing. First up we’re Introducing…Labhan Dinwoodie, who is one of our longest running students – having been training aerial with us for almost 10 years!

‘Hi. My name is Labhan Dinwoodie And I love aerial.

I saw my first aerial show when I was 7. It’s a vivid memory. My parents had taken me and my siblings to the magical woodland walk, and boy was it magical. To see the trapezes and hoops hung in the trees and to see people dancing on them will be a turning point in my life. I remember begging my mum to try it. I wouldn’t stop until she managed to find a class that I could do. That’s when then I first joined All or Nothing.

It was love at first sight. Once I had tried it I simply couldn’t get enough. Inspired by the older kids and the promise of flight, I took more and more classes. Fast forward a little and the all or nothing Level up group is formed. Originally just a slightly more advanced class, it has now evolved to a full performance group. I couldn’t be more proud to be a member. It has been an amazing time. I have made some fantastic friends and have improved my skills so much. Very sadly this will be my last year with them, as if all goes well next year I will be away at circus school. With the support of my teachers and my group I have decided to try my hand at taking my performances and aerial to a professional level. With a lot of hard work and passion you will hopefully see me if shows in the future.

Aerial has genuinely been one of the most positive things in my life. It has encouraged me to expand my horizons, make new friends and do things I never thought I could. I can’t give enough thanks to the incredible teachers I have had over the years and I can’t wait to see what my future holds for me (hopefully in circus)’

We’ll be featuring more people who are involved with the company from now on – highlighting the the brilliant folk who are part of All or Nothing!

Thanks for reading and thank you to Labhan!
