We are looking for new Board Members

All or Nothing is now entering the next phase of company development, having secured long-term core support through Creative Scotland’s multi-year funding. We have an exciting few years ahead, developing and growing our creative work and our audiences and participants, and creating opportunities for aerial artists in Scotland, including establishing Scotland’s first aerial performance ensemble.

We’re looking for new Board Members that share our passion for creating performance and creative opportunities and can bring fresh insights, ideas and enthusiasm to our small arts charity. We’d love to hear from you if you are excited by the idea of supporting our vision of Aerial for All.

Commitment

The Board of Trustees meets four times per year, usually in March, June, September and December; meetings are in-person in Edinburgh or via online call. In addition, Trustees are invited to All or Nothing events throughout the year.

This is a voluntary, unpaid role and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

You do not need previous experience as a Board Member to apply for this opportunity. We’re keen to hear from you if you have a passion for supporting arts and communities. We recognise systemic exclusion in the performing arts sector and actively welcome applicants from under-represented backgrounds.

How to Apply

View and download the Information Pack for more information on the role and how to apply. Please contact us if you need the application material in another format.

Send a CV and letter of interest, or an equivalent audio/video submission, by 17:00 on Wednesday 14 January 2025. Prospective Board Members will be invited to speak with Jen Paterson (Artistic Director) and Anne Gallacher (Chair of the Board) in January/February.

If you would like an informal chat before applying or have any questions, please contact Anne Gallacher via chair@aerialdance.co.uk.

Other opportunities

We are a friendly bunch and are always on the lookout to work with people across the creative industries on projects and performances. We always love to hear from aerialists who have recently moved to Scotland or have been living here for a while, as we regularly have opportunities for freelance tutors and collaborators.
